Alan Silva is a Law Clerk at the Tampa Office. Mr. Silva is a first-generation immigrant. As such, Mr. Silva developed a passion for immigration. Mr. Silva graduated from the University of Central Florida and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies and a minor in Business to aid with his eventual practice focus in Family Based Immigration and Employment Based Immigration Law.
Mr. Silva then attended Western Michigan University Cooley Law School where he obtained his Juris Doctorate degree. During his time in law school, Mr. Silva successfully passed immigration related courses such as Immigration Law and Immigration Court Practice. He also interned through Cooley Law School’s Externship Program at Hernandez & Smith, P.A. where he was exposed to the practice of Immigration and Family Law. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Silva worked as a Law Clerk at Derick C. Morales, P.A. where he worked in matters dealing with Civil Litigation and Immigration.
His experience in civil, family, and immigration matters has also helped him narrow issues to successfully assist attorneys in defending clients in civil and family matters when advocating for dispositions that would reduce or negate the immigration consequences at hand.
Mr. Silva draws from his family history to fuel in his defense of immigrants.
Mr. Silva has successfully passed the Florida portion of the Bar Exam and will soon be our newest Associate Attorney upon passing the Multistate Bar Exam.
Outside of work, Mr. Silva enjoys travelling and meeting people from different culture backgrounds as he enjoys learning about various cultures. He also enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends. He enjoys the outdoors and playing sports.
