Biography

Danna is originally from Medellin, Colombia and fluent in English and Spanish. She is a Legal Assistant with Bassey Immigration Law Center and based in our Clearwater Office.  She assists clients with various immigrant and non-immigrant visa applications, applications for naturalizations (citizenship), application for asylum and withholding of removal and temporary protected status (TPS). Danna has experience in assisting clients in applying for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Employment Authorization Documents (Work Permits), Adjustment of Status (Green Card) and Petition for U Nonimmigrant Status (U Visa Petitions).

Danna enjoys working our numerous and diverse clients as this gives her insight to various cultures and experiences. She enjoys all the different cases assigned to her as this helps build and expand her knowledge of immigration law.

Outside of work, Danna loves to read, spend time with her family, watching Netflix series, going out to dance with friends.  Also, Danna loves listening to music including salsa, bachata, electronica, etc., going to the various beaches in the Tampa Bay area, visiting Busch Gardens in Tampa, Adventure Island and Universal Studios in Orlando and travelling to Colombia
